Welcome to your guide to Abruzzo. This website is my hobby. This website give you everything you need to know about Abruzzo, from a tourism perspective and also from an expat perspective.  I live in Abruzzo full time and have done so for over 2 years. I love Abruzzo.

These Abruzzo pictures are real pictures, in fact the opening picture is actually taken from my back garden and many of the other pictures are taken from my neighbours gardens. Abruzzo is simply stunning, mesmerising beauty on an enormous scale!!

What is the real Abruzzo?

Simply put, if you want to know about Abruzzo history and churches etc, pick up an Abruzzo guide book, there are lots of them. Prepare to be bored. For me, the real Abruzzo is the people. Abruzzo people are warm, passionate and full of life. Life in Abruzzo is never, ever dull. It is my goal to share with you the funniest stories that we have collected here in Abruzzo in the last few years. Abruzzo life has been an adventure, an eye opener and a life less ordinary to say the least. Share with me the joys and the pain of the REAL Abruzzo.
